CRN Women in Channel Awards 2019

Computacenter believes that diversity helps us to make better decisions. Celebrating the female role models who will inspire the next generation of technologists and engineers is a positive way of highlighting the importance of gender balance.

DORIS BROZIO LEADS COMPANY NOMINATION FOR BEST COMPANY OUTREACH PROGRAMME AWARD

Doris Brozio’s work in developing Computacenter’s schools' outreach initiative has led to the company being shortlisted for the ‘Best Community Outreach Programme’ at this year’s CRN Women in Channel Awards taking place in October.

This special company award acknowledges organisations who go the extra mile to attract more young people into STEM and the tech industry.

Doris took over the responsibility of a local pilot in 2016 and has grown it into a national programme with over 80 ambassadors volunteering up to 5 hours a week.  Last year, 130 activities took place in schools and colleges because of this highly successful programme.

Craig Cobb (Future Talent Manager for Computacenter UK & Ireland) who nominated Doris on behalf of the company explains more in his video below.
